NISSAN LEAF RANGE & CHARGING
DESIGNED FOR HOW YOU REALLY DRIVE
A FULL DAY OF RANGE
The Nissan LEAF is engineered for the real world. For motorway driving with the air conditioning on, you can drive between 100 and 160 kilometers or between 125 and 200 kilometers respectively with 24 kWh and 30 kWh*. For most people, that will easily cover their daily commute. The Nissan LEAF also gives you the information to get more out of every charge. These include energy-saving driving modes and the Multi-Function Display Drive Computer, which informs you of power used/generated, battery charge, charging times and more.
*Driving range assumption in moderate driving conditions. Various factors can affect driving range including driving style, road conditions, outside temperature, air conditioning.

HOW FAR WILL YOU GO?
The Nissan LEAF is built with range-maximising features to help you drive further on every charge.Every full charge will give you a range of up to 155 miles. And while the new Nissan LEAF 30 kWh has innovative features that maximise your range, it is affected by your driving style and the conditions in which you drive. So what will your range be? Let’s find out.

Scenarios are provided as guidance only and do not indicate any guarantee of actual performance. Nissan LEAF 30 kWh can travel up to 155 miles per full charge, based on the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC). Actual range may vary due to driving style, road condition, air conditioning and other factors outside our control. LEAF emits zero CO2 emissions whilst driving.
GETTING THE MOST FROM EACH CHARGE
GO FURTHER
There are a number of ways to ensure maximum range from each charge. One is setting a moderate cabin temperature. Another is pre-heating or pre-cooling your Nissan LEAF while it’s still charging, so you save more of the battery for the road. You can do this by smartphone or computer, or simply set a timer. While on the road, driving at slower, constant speeds maximises range, as does driving in ECO or B Mode. Finally, whenever you brake or take your foot off the accelerator, regenerative braking converts into battery power much of the energy that would otherwise be wasted.

ECO MODE: EXTEND YOUR RANGE
For the most efficient use of your battery’s charge, the Nissan LEAF features an ECO Mode. Activating it limits the motor’s output, cuts back on the air-con, and increases regenerative braking, all of which helps improve range by up to 10%.

B MODE: GENERATE EVEN MORE ENERGY
To increase battery range further, simply activate B Mode. This gives more aggressive regenerative braking.

GENERATE ENERGY WHILE YOU DRIVE
The Nissan LEAF's regenerative braking system converts some of the energy you lose from braking into extra charge for your battery. This means every time you slow down, this ingenious system captures some of that energy and stores it for later.

YOUR RANGE AT A GLANCE
How much range do you have left? A glance at the Driving Range Meter will tell you instantly. The number of bars shows you how much farther you can go, and is regularly updated based on your power usage and driving style.

KEEP TABS ON YOUR POWER
This simple power meter makes it easy to keep an eye on your power consumption. The lights track left or right to show how much power you’re using – or how much you’re generating, thanks to the Nissan LEAF's regenerative braking.
NissanConnect EV SYSTEM

FROM YOUR TABLET OR COMPUTER
Enjoy even more ways to make driving electric easy and fun. In addition to everything you can do from your smartphone, you can check your driving history, plan the most efficient routes, and even see how your efficiency ranks among that of other Nissan LEAF owners.

THREE WAYS TO CHARGE
FOR CHARGING, YOU HAVE OPTIONS
Charging your Nissan LEAF is simple. Plug it in at home, just as you would any domestic appliance. Or make use of our growing network of charging points which provide up to 80% charge in 30 minutes.
PUBLIC QUICK CHARGE – UP TO 80% POWER IN 30 MINUTES
With the standard Rapid Charge port, you can plug in at fast-Quick charge stations and reach up to 80% charge in about 30 minutes. This is ideal for when you’re out and about and want to top up your charge.
HOME FAST-CHARGING – IN JUST FOUR HOURS
Charge your Nissan LEAF overnight using a home charging unit and reach full charge in approximately eight hours. With the optional 6,6 kW on-board charger you can reduce this time to just four hours – or five and a half hours with the new high-performance 30 kWh battery.
PLUG INTO THE MAINS – FULL CHARGE IN 12 HOURS
The most conventional way of charging the Nissan e-NV200 is via the cable and 10A plug and a regular domestic supply. This allows you to charge anywhere there is a standard socket at home or in your work place.
CHARGING AT HOME
THE NEW WAY TO FILL UP
Filling up takes on a whole new meaning in the Nissan LEAF. All you have to do is plug in, and you’re good to go for 100-160 kilometers with a 24 kWh battery and for 125-200 kilometers with a 30 kWh*.

HOME CHARGING UNIT
If you've fitted a home-charging unit, the optional 6,6 kW on-board charger lets you speed-charge your Nissan LEAF in the convenience of your own garage. Just plug in, and you’ll go from empty to a full charge in about four hours with the 24 kWh battery pack – or five and a half hours with the new 30 kWh battery pack.

PLUG IN ANYWHERE
For houses without a home-charging unit, or when you’re away and can’t locate a high-speed public charging station, the Nissan LEAF comes with a standard charging cable. While slower than the other options, this lets you charge anywhere you can find a domestic socket. The Nissan LEAF also comes with a cable to use at public fast charger units.

CHOOSE WHEN YOU WANT TO CHARGE
With the NissanConnect EV app the home charging unit can be operated by remote control, via your smartphone, tablet or computer. This means that you can start and stop charging at designated times – so you can take advantage of off-peak electricity rates.
