AERODYNAMIC EXTERIOR
CHEAT THE WIND
With a drag coefficient of just 0,28; the Nissan LEAF is aerodynamically designed to keep wind resistance down and efficiency up. Low-rolling-resistance tyres also help reduce energy loss.
LIGHT THE WAY EFFICIENTLY
LED low-beam headlights, standard on the Tekna, use half as much energy as traditional headlights, so you’ll save more battery power for the road. Plus, the LEAF's headlamps are designed to maximise aerodynamic efficiency.
SOLAR-POWERED RADIO
Does a solar-powered radio sound like music to your ears? The optional solar-panel spoiler, available on the Tekna, converts sunlight into energy, helping power your air-con, the 12 volt outlet and the audio system.
LIGHTWEIGHT ALLOY WHEELS
The optional 17'' alloy wheels – standard on the Tekna – not only look great, they’re lightweight, too, so they reduced unsprung weight and contribute to the Nissan LEAF's efficiency.
NO NOISE, NO VIBRATIONS
Since it is 100% electric the Nissan LEAF drives completely silently and with no annoying engine vibration. So the only thing you leave behind as you drive is the sound of silence.
EASY-OPEN, ILLUMINATED CHARGE PORT
Just press a button on your Nissan Intelligent Key – standard on all LEAF models – and the charge door pops right open. And with a light inside, it’s easier than ever to insert the charger.
CHARGING STATUS INDICATOR LIGHTS
Designed to display your battery level at a glance, blue LED lights are visible whenever your Nissan LEAF is connected to a quick-charger. So the next time you’re charging, you’ll know exactly when to put down that coffee and hit the road.

Shift the drive selector into B-Mode – standard on the Acenta and Tekna – to increase brake response and regenerative braking. You’ll convert braking energy into battery charge whenever you slow down.

The five-seater Nissan LEAF is all about efficiency, and that includes having room for four passengers inside a compact family-car body. And with folding rear seats, plenty of storage, a USB port, climate control and more, it’s everything you’d expect from a premium car – plus electric power.
PARTIALLY RECYCLED CLOTH SEATS
The seats, which are heated on the Tekna, are stylish, modern and comfortable. The bonus is that, just like the rest of the Nissan LEAF, they’re also good for the environment. You can choose from full leather trim or a planet-loving fabric part-made from recycled bottles.
MAKING THE MOST OF INTERIOR SPACE
Unlike hybrids, which wedge their batteries between the boot and rear seats, the Nissan LEAF's battery pack is stowed in the floor. That leaves more room in the boot.
ROOM TO SPARE
With 370 litres of boot space, the Nissan LEAF can accommodate up to five pieces of luggage or two golf bags – and that’s with the 60/40 split-folding rear seats upright.
NOW YOU CAN TAKE YOUR BIKE WITH YOU
When friends or family aren’t along for the ride, you can fold the 60/40 split rear seats flat to open up a generous 720 litres of versatility – that’s plenty of room for things such as a mountain bike. You also get a handy under-floor locker that lets you keep smaller valuables out of sight.
